Inspired by a photo taken by Laura Baker Stanton at the World Champion Horse Show in August 2017 during the Park Horse class, this eager talented mare was more than ready and able to head back to the rail during her class! About Jeanne Newton Schoborg
The Midwest is where I grew up, but as a child, I traveled to three continents with my parents and sister. My family's jewelry business took us everywhere! There wasn't a museum, monument, pyramid, or castle we missed along the way...Dad and a multitude of tour guides made certain of that! From the age of nine till we turned eighteen, our summers were filled with the sights, sounds, and tastes of the world. I attended Stephen's College from 1974 to 1979 where I graduated with a B.A. in Studio Art. I minored in Equestrian Science, of course! Now, one would expect I learned a lot from those 5 years, but I really didn't...at least, not what I was looking for. It was the mid seventies and well...you remember the seventies? Horse art was...

Wow, Jeanne - looked at it with "oh yeah!" (years of videoing ASBs). Then looked again. And hit "more" and confirmed that this is, indeed, a print of a painting. Went back to look at the picture and my jaw dropped. I'm a VERY amateur painter and am gobsmacked at your work. l/f
